Louie’s Legacy: Mason & Charlie’s College Fund

Donation protected

Louis "Louie" L. Diana Jr. passed away at 25 years young with his family by his side late Monday morning, July 20th, 2020; after suffering complications from endocarditis and an aggressive blood infection. Louie had suffered from heroin addiction ever since he was 17 and had 3 years of happiness in sobriety before his most recent relapse; related to the stressors of being laid off from his construction job during the COVID-19 pandemic. He left behind two small boys - Mason Diana (age 7) and Charlie Diana (age 2) - with no life insurance policy. We are starting this fund for their future. All proceeds will be split evenly for the two boys and put into a trust fund that they can access once they are 18.

He was so much more than his addiction. He was a loving son, father, brother, friend, fiance, and human-being. He was intelligent, handsome, kind, witty, hilarious, joyful, hard-working, loyal, sweet, loving, passionate and goofy. He also was incredibly stubborn, honest, and outspoken.  Through his short life, he touched a lot of people with his friendship and spirit. He encouraged many of his friends to seek recovery; even while he was struggling himself. He had saved many friends from overdosing and made sure that they were okay after. He would reach out and check up on the loved ones of his friends' who had passed away from their own battles of addiction. When he had his recent relapse, he was working himself towards recovery through building his own business called "Louie's Lawncare & Handyman Services” from the ground up. Louie did not even have a car at the time of his passing and would knock on doors around Woodstown to generate business. He had just ordered business cards days before he went into the hospital. He did not want to die and he was not planning on dying.

If you know anyone who is suffering from addiction, for Louie's sake, please seek help. Those drugs do not love you: you have family and friends who do, and who will miss you forever if you tragically pass just like we will miss Louie forever. If you love someone who is an addict, please do not turn your back on them - they need you. There is hope until their last breath.
