Louie's Fight Against Lymphoma Needs You
Beschermde donatie
Hello Friends, we really hate that we have to ask but here we are. Our cat Louie is in serious trouble as we found out on July 17th that he has Renal Lymphoma. His vet care is way beyond our financial ability and frankly, we need help. We began chemo treatment the day he was diagnosed and that bill was $2, 910.00 and the costs to continue his care are going to be 10,000 which is why we are attempting to find help.
Louie came to us as a kitten in January of 2024. We heard a faint mewing and found him on our front porch. We immediately took him in and fed him. He and I stayed in our bedroom to keep him away from our other kitties until we could have him tested for Feline Leukemia/AIDS, and the next day his test results came back perfect. So we named him Louie de Pointe du Lac from Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire books, which I am a fan of, and welcomed him into our family.
Louie grew up and is a beautiful soul. He is so smart and a sweetheart. I love my Lou-Pa-Do with all the love I have inside of me and will do everything and anything I can to help him survive. His doctor feels his chances of remission are very good as he is young, one and a half years old, and apart from the Lymphoma, he is healthy.
Louie has 6 months of chemo treatment to go through, and it will cost $10,000. We do not have that kind of money and our credit cards are nearly maxed out now so if you can donate any amount, I promise you, I will be tearfully grateful. And if you are unable to donate, please send prayers for Louie. :)
I will be transparent by posting bills/statements along with Louie's progress. If we reach our goal, any monies available afterward will be given to Louies veterinary hospital, Med Vet in Dayton Ohio, to help anyone else in need.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read about my precious Louie.
