Louie's Heart Surgery

Hi, my name is Geana George and I have the most perfect french bulldog puppy named Louie. He is almost 6 months old, but sadly he is in need of heart surgery the 23rd of November 2020 which is only offered at AVC in PEI.
Louie was diagnosed with severe valvular pulmonary stenosis and hypoplasia of his pulmonic annulus on October 4th 2020. This means one of the valves of his heart is too small/narrow, and blood isn't sufficiently pumping the way it should be. His right ventricle is working harder to eject blood into the pulmonary artery and in compensating for this additional workload, the muscle of the right ventricle has thickened as well and his condition will worsen with time. The severity of his stenosis can only be helped by a balloon valvuloplasty surgery. Louie's surgery has been priced at a minimum of $6000 and a maximum of $10,000 (can provide vet emails and/or notes if needed). This is a congenital defect which means insurance will not cover or help with any of the costs.
Louie is just a puppy and I want to give him the long happy life he deserves. The last 5.5 months I've had him have been the best months of my life, he is happy, cuddly, energetic, so funny, makes the best noises and anyone who has met him knows exactly what I mean.
Please, if you can donate anything at all, I promise it will be more than appreciated. I am 23 years old and a 3rd year nursing student so I fully understand that times are tough, especially right now.
