Our Fire Door Inspector Jake, and his wife Sophie have a beautiful son named Louie who Has Autism Spectrum Disorder and is also non - verbal.

He has really struggled with the change in routine brought on by the school holidays and Louie is now demonstrating self harm behaviour such as hitting himself in the head and having screaming fits, plus aggression such as biting , hitting and nipping others when he cant communicate what he wants to. He is also not sleeping well and as you can imagine this is taking a toll on Jake and his wife and other children as well.

Calming medication is available for Louie that can help, but the doctors will not prescribe it until or unless he has a formal diagnosis of ADHD, and there is currently a 2 year waiting list for young people to see an NHS Specialist and be diagnosed.

The fee to go private is around £1800.00 , and Louie can be seen within 2 weeks. Sadly this sum is not something that Jake and Sophie can afford right now, so I would like to help them to get Louie the treatment he needs.

Anything you can afford to give no matter how small will go towards the cost of getting little Louie in front of a Specialist asap.
