In times of tragedy, it’s important for us to come together and support one another.

Derrick and Robin have become like family to many of us. As we remember Derrick for his loving and fun personality, please consider donating to Robin and her family as they plan a celebration of life and begin to navigate life without Derrick. Your kindness and support would mean the world to the Loughran family during these extremely difficult times.

“The love of my life took his life on Friday, March 3rd and my world has been completely shattered and will never be the same. He got let go from his job before Christmas and that event started a deep depression that spiraled so out of control that he couldn’t find his way out. Although, I gave him all the love and support I could and provided him a safe environment along with the tools to help him through, the depression was just too much for him. The 8 1/2 years I had with him was absolutely worth a lifetime, but I wish I had more time. I wish a lot of things. He was the kindest, sweetest man, who never met a stranger and was the life of the party. He would do anything for anybody. He was my person and I loved him with all my heart. Please pray for me and our boys as we try to navigate through this unbearable time. I appreciate our family and friends who are here for us and will continue to be. Bad things can happen in the blink of an eye. Have conversations with your loved ones when they are struggling. Keep an open dialogue. I did all of these things, but it still wasn’t enough.

We will have a celebration of life for Derrick in a few weeks. I am sharing just some of the many pictures of the wonderful adventures we had in our short time together. I love you so much baby and I hope you are at peace.”
