LOUD Queer Youth Theater is a small theater collective and political organizing space for Black trans, queer, and gender expansive youth in New Orleans. Our current team includes four co-directors (ages 24-27), eleven apprentices (ages 16-24) and one adult supporter (aged 37), 100% of whom are Black and queer or trans or non-binary. Our goal is to create theater that reflects our lived experiences while also strengthening our networks and learning what it means to be working artists and culture bearers in New Orleans.
