My dad, my best friend, and cancer
Donation protected
My father, Louis Frissore, is my best friend and hero, and he's facing a cancer diagnosis. After a year and a half of tests and procedures that, at one time saw him faced with possible kidney removal, they have finally determined that is in fact cancer that he has in his abdomen.
This GoFundMe campaign is set up to assist Lou in paying his Medicare Supplement premium, which is $200 per month. This plan will elminiate the growing out of pocket costs faced with such a diagnosis, and alleviate the financial burden a cancer diagnosis presents. Rather than face an unknown medical bill, we've determined this is the best course of action given the road ahead of him.
I would not be here today if not for my father. There have been many times in my life where I almost could not continue given my own history of depression and PTSD. My father, from day one, has been my savior and protector and is the reason I was able to overcome so much in my own life.
Those who know my father know that he is not the type of person to ask for help. As he sat recovering after his biopsy, all he could think about was getting home to help shovel his elderly neighbor out from the blizzard. He volunteers weekly at a center for disadvantaged children, and would just about give you the shirt off his back if you asked him for it.
My father is the best person I know, and if you know him too, you know that isn't an exaggeration. I'm hoping you might consider helping us to face this terrible diagnosis with a little confidence.
Thank you, and be well <3
