Our Project

Louder tells the story of the Darren, a recently divorced man who’s inherited an old family home in a sleepy village in the south of France. On his daughter’s insistence, he begrudgingly accept help from 3 young, aspiring musicians- Killian, Sasha and Guillaume, in helping clear out the house….

As of the 29th of March, 2025 we have concluded shooting for the film and are now entering the first stages of post-production. For this, we are aiming to raise €3,000 to help complete and eventually distribute Louder, and we need your help! We are really grateful for anything you can give and continue reading to find out more about how it will help us.

We are a passionate team of filmmakers and film enthusiasts, very excited to collaborate on this project. The themes of loneliness, community and redemption present in Louder resonate with all of us, and we look forward to bringing this story to life!

Where will your money go?

In order to bring the world of Louder to life, we need €3,000 in funds. Any donation is appreciated and if you are unable to donate please share our page across socials! We will be sharing updates of our progress regularly!

Here’s a budget breakdown of where your money will be going:

POST PRODUCTION (€600)

Assembling the final cut of the film will involve the following processes- Editing, Colour Grading and Sound Mixing. With the relationship between the visuals and sound playing such a vital role in telling our story, your donated money will ensure these are done to the highest quality possible.

MUSIC (€1100)

With our film concerning multiple characters who are musicians either by hobby or profession, the film’s music plays an important role in setting the tone and mood of several key sequences in the film. Our vision for this story includes composing, commissioning and producing original music for the film. Your donations will help us secure the right talent and resource to bring the soundscape of this film to life.

DISTRIBUTION (€1300)

Finding an audience is perhaps the hardest part of the process for any independent production, and your donations will be crucial to help us submit the film to a selection of festivals across the world. This cost will also involve any potential travel to these locations in order to showcase the film.
