On behalf of his inconsolable, grieving, and newly widowed wife Anne, and the entire Punta Banda Community:

Lou died in a horrific and unbelievable incident that unfortunately occurred on their neighbor's property and through their joined fence to the next door house. Their dogs were not invoved in any way. Anne was present and is suffering emotionally and physically. She will need therapy and time for healing. This case is going to court and Anne has retained a local attorney. This is sure to be a very long process and certainly an unplanned expense to the family, not including the funeral home costs.

Both Lou and Anne have been very active and generous long-time residents in our Punta Banda Community rescuing dogs, cats and even a macaw parrot. They both love animals. Lou was well known for his delicious, slow cooked ribs and homemade bacon.

We want to thank the community members for their outpouring of love and prayers to the family. This community always has a way of uniting together when a crisis has occurred.

The celebration of Lou's life will be announced in the future when Anne is better healed and is up for it.
