Hi, my name is Glenn and I'm fund-raising for Lou Walden. On January 14th, Lou lost control of his vehicle which rolled and landed in the opposite ditch. He was flown to Kootenai Medical Center where he underwent surgery for several hours on his lower back and is currently in the critical care unit and has limited movement in his legs. The doctors are optimistic that he will walk again.
Lou is a young and very active outdoorsman. He is the consumate angler with the experience and knowledge of someone much older and he absolutely loves fishing and the angling environment. He is a charismatic and friendly fella and is immediately likeable and fun to be around.
Lou, unfortunately will have to leave north Idaho just as he was settling in and go back to Maryland to be with his people. The veracity of his injuries will require extensive PT and rehab as well as many unforseen expenses.
We hope to raise this money to defray his travel expenses as well medical deductibles and his PT. This is going to be a very arduous rehab that this young man will be facing for the next year and any help will be greatly appreciated.
Let's get Lou up walking and fishing once again.
