Lou Golson cancer fund

Lou Golson has been in law enforcement for over 30 years. In 2015, while working DWI, he pulled over a suspected drunk driver. Upon making contact, the driver opened fire on Officer Golson, striking him four times. That was the end of his law enforcement career and he ultimately had to leave as a result of his injuries. 

the financial burden from the shooting has been lingering over him ever since. Now, 5 years later, Lou has a new fight on his hands. He has been diagnosed with stage 3 Cancer. Lou was reluctant to do any fund raising because he is a humble person and carries a lot of pride in providing for his family. 

without help to pay for medical bills and other expenses. Lou, won’t get the treatment he needs or the time in between treatments to heal. Initially we had a modest goal, to pay off his co-pay for his first surgery, but the surgery provided news that his family was not expecting. 

we have also created a Facebook page that will allow people to follow Lou’s journey and provide updates. Please help support this man who served his community. We would appreciate if the community would show their support for his sacrifices.
