Hey all! Lou Dog recently has been diagnosed with cancer. After getting some basic blood work done they were able to at least reassure me that it’s early stages and is most likely treatable but they don’t want to start chemo without running tests to find out exactly what kind of cancer it is and if it’s spread anywhere else. This is where I’m asking for help… the procedure with the biopsy and X-rays is going to cost me almost $1000 and after just blowing majority of my check to find out what’s been going on with him I don’t see myself being able to pay even half of that until November at the earliest.. if it was up to me I would just have them start chemo without the tests but our vet is adamant that we do these tests to know for sure so we don’t start him on the wrong treatment. I have faith that if I can get him treated sooner than later that I can keep my best friend for at least another couple of years. He’s only 11 years old and just a month ago he was playing fetch and running down the stairs to meet me every time I got home! Obviously you don’t need to donate anything if you don’t want but I would appreciate the support so much if you did. Thank you for at least looking and reading this far.
