Due to the weather conditions we have safety concerns for our brave volunteer Abu Bakar and so we will be Insha'Allah postponing this hike to Summer of 2025.

My name is Abubakar and on the 28th of September, I’m going to be climbing Mount Snowdon with the Rising Stars team.

I am a volunteer with Rising Stars and have always been excited to hear of their stories of climbing mountains and completing running & cycling challenges.

And now it’s my time! having completed the Coventry half marathon twice, I will Insha’Allah fulfil my ambition of trekking up Snowdon in my specially adapted wheelchair, with the Rising Stars brothers Insha’Allah.

I’m making this effort on behalf of Lote Tree Primary School. This is a Muslim primary school and nursery run with a Bespoke Islamic Curriculum tailored to nurture our core Islamic values and deliver an outstanding academic education. We need your help to raise money for this new classroom that has been built for the growing needs of our community. This is my opportunity to give back to this wonderful place.
