Hi, we are a family of four whose house, the one in the picture, was flooded into the second level during the South East QLD floods. This photo was taken on the Monday after we waded out the day before. We were able to finally walk into our house on the Wednesday. Since that Sunday we having been living in various temporary accomodation around Brisbane. When we haven't been working we have been cleaning and packing any salvageable items, as we probably won't be able to move back into the house for at least 6 months.  As we have no contents insurance we are going to have to replace a large number of white goods and furniture. Some of the items we have had to throw out, which are considered contents by insurance, are fridge, washing machine, couches, wardrobes, shoe cupboards, bookshelves, carpet, cupboards.  

As we can't move back into the house for a least 6 months, anybody with item donations please DM Keith or Sasivie so we can workout how to proceed.
