We are so sad to report that our beloved friends, Carol and Dai-Le, lost their sweet home, a sanctuary near Healdsburg, CA; it was destroyed by the LNU fire. We know that giving can be a stretch under the best of conditions--and Covid-19 has added to financial woes for many--so we ask that, if you're able, please help our beloved friends in any way you can, as they face the emotionally challenging and financially-devastating effects of this fire. Any and all donations appreciated and no amount is too small. Our fundraising goal is random; if we can beat it, hopefully substantially, that would be wonderful. Your gifts will be used to help Dai-Le and Carol navigate the immense financial losses guaranteed by this fire, as insurance will cover only a fraction of their home (like so many in that area, they were dropped by "mainstream" insurers almost a year ago, and had to resort to a costly CA Fair Plan policy, which has a huge deductible and limited coverage).
