On the night of March 30th there was a major fire at a condo complex in Lomita. Our dear friend Mina had lived there for five years but now has no place to call home. She and her precious dog have been through so much. Most of the building was flattened by fire. Though her condo wasn’t destroyed, it is unlivable at this point. After the fire, thieves broke in and ransacked her home, causing more damage, and she can’t even be sure yet what they stole.

The fire and now the burglary are just the latest trauma Mina has suffered. First. a divorce. Then, the Monday before the fire her father passed away overseas. Then the fire. Now the theft and further damage to the condo. The emotional burden, heartbreak, and financial impact is unimaginable.

Mina is a woman of deep abiding faith in Jesus. We are hoping to raise funds for her to take care of temporary housing, replace lost items, repair the damage to restore her home, and eventually for a trip back to be with her mother.
