My sister, Colleen, is well known in the area for volunteering thousands of hours each year to catch, humanely trap and reunite lost and stray dogs all over Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, Philadelphia as well as Delaware. She has spent thousands of dollars out of her own pocket for equipment, food and gas to do this. She is rarely reimbursed by the pet’s owners for her gas or supplies but continues the mission because of her compassion for the animals and empathy with grieving owners. She is good at what she does and there is a great need for this service.

Her goal is to purchase a thermal drone to expedite locating and reuniting lost animals with their owners. She is already working on obtaining her FAA pilot license towards this goal. She plans to purchase the thermal drone out of pocket and I’d like to start this fundraiser to help her achieve her goals. She never hesitates to drop what she is doing to help those in need when their pet gets lost. Please consider donating to lessen the financial burden she takes on to help our community. The drone would help expand and/ or minimize the search area and put resources where they would have the best results.

A thermal drone and a trained pilot would also be a huge asset to the local communities in the event of a missing child or adult suffering from a medical condition, who may wander away.
