Fighting cancer and losing two children isn’t something anyone would expect to do.

I know they say God doesn’t give you more than you can handle my very best friend Sylvia has been fighting breast and throat cancer the last year, after several chemo treatments and radiation she finally beat it and was ready to retire, move to North Carolina and start a fresh life. She recently moved to North Carolina six weeks ago after her last treatment and tragically the night of October 15 she got the phone call that no mother wants to get, her precious daughter Kelli Jo, had passed away leaving behind three children and four grand children! While making funeral arrangements for her daughter, her son John who left behind 2 children and four grandchildren was traveling from Virginia to Florida for the funeral and was tragically struck by a speeding car and was killed instantly. In less than a week she lost two of her children in unexpected events. Travel expenses, hotels, gas, meals, it all adds up. Especially when it’s unexpected. For the last year Sylvia had been battling cancer and just when she thought she was out of the woods, now this. Sylvia has been such a giving person and has gone without so that others could have.
