Lost My Job Overseas: Help Luna Get Home

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I never thought I’d find myself in this position, but life can sometimes throw unexpected challenges our way. After losing my job overseas, I now face the difficult task of leaving this country on short notice, with limited time to arrange my return home. While packing up my life and making travel arrangements is overwhelming, the most urgent concern is ensuring that our beloved dog, Luna, can come with us.

Luna has been my loyal companion for 8 years, and she means the world to me. We’ve been through so much together, and I can’t imagine embarking on this journey without her by my side. However, due to circumstances beyond my control, I cannot use the military rotator, and the airlines the Navy is booking do not allow pets. This leaves me with only one option: shipping Luna as cargo, which comes at a premium cost. Unfortunately, the cost of transporting Luna safely back home is far more expensive than I anticipated, especially in light of my recent job loss.

That’s why I’m turning to you for help. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering Luna’s travel expenses, ensuring that she can stay with us as we make our way back home. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated. Even if you aren’t able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean so much. Any money not used for Luna will go to our other animals Thor (German Shepard) and Chita's (British Short Hair Cat) travel back to the states.
