LOST MY DREAMS WITH ONE WAVE

Donation protected
I live on my boat alone and move around .The night before storm Ellen i sailed around lands end and pulled into Penzance bay around 9pm-I anchored just outside to Newlyn harbour enterance and made sure i was hooked up well and put on my anchor alarm - After about an hour and constantly making sure i was dug in well i went to sleep with the hatch and the companion way open. I woke up as usual just as the day was breaking and looked out of the companionway just to make sure everything was fine and i saw a wall about 20 feet away i quickly grabbed my key to start the engine and try to get away from danger and within seconds the waves were breaking over the boat- into the boat below deck- washing one after the next over my head and covering the boat and and i heard the keel hit the ground- and the next wave turned us over each wave pushing us closer and closer up the beach and into the wall , with obviously nothing i could do i just held on trying to find a footing on the tipped over boat- wave after wave smashing into the boat and grinding into the wall crushing my solar panels and davits against the wall. I called a mayday to the coastguard who was there within minutes but with the waves so ruff and so close to the shore they couldnt help the boat or get me from the ocean- they put a rope down from the beach wall and pulled me up that way. So that was it- watching my boat that i spent years working day and night to get, build move onto to start my life long dream to sail around the world and within 15 minutes of waking up i was soaking wet standing on the shore watching every wave shifting my boat along the shingles and into the wall ruining everything i had worked so may years for. So the damage is obviously a lot of cosmetic, so paint, antifoul , davits, solars fishing rods all broken - inside totally soaked ruining my phones, ipads used for navigation plus all my other electrical goods-it really it a real mess, all of my personal things have been ruined, even all of my paper charts , even down to my glasses being broken- just a nightmare really. so the reason for this to happen is that my anchor line broke and i drifted all the way to shore . The very strange thig is that i didnt wake up, im a very light sleeper and had no warning of this until it was to late- strangely enough my anchor alarm didnt go off until the boat capsized (then fell into the huge puddle in the boat and got ruined also. A crane had to come to lift out the boat and it has been put in the carpark awaiting to be moved to a boatyard. Obviously i am liable for the costs of recovery as well so not only have i got to rebuild my boat/ home i need to find the funds to repay the costs of lifting. storage etc. i would like to say that if this could of happened anywhere in the world i couldnt of had more help and understanding than i have had here- so id really like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the wonderful guys at the lifeboat station and everyone else from PENZANCE - you have all been amazing- i could mention many names of who really has been there for me with help and understanding but i think you all Know who you are without printing your names/ organisations etc. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS !!!!!# So this is my story of the last week- its going to take a long time and a lot more hard work to get this mess sorted out and to get back on the water and any help anyone can give me will be so deeply appreciated
