In 1922, Squizzy Taylor stared in a silent film called “In Emergency Colours”, which later became known as “Riding to Win”. The movie was very high budget for this day, renting the Caulfield racecourse and the Moonee Valley racecourse as backdrops and sets. However, due to a police stipulation that he was not allowed to profit from the proceeds of crime, the movie was only ever screened in Queensland once. The movie has since become known as a Lost movie. No surviving prints or copies existed today.

This project will aspire to re-create the movie using AI and the expert history research of best selling true crime author, Roy Maloy. The movie will present a potential replica that could demonstrate what the original might have looked like if it had survived.

This fundraiser is being conducted to assist with the cost of AI footage generation software tools which require fee for Service payments. With your help, this crowd funded project will come to life allowing us to replace part of the lost movie by Squizzy Taylor, “Riding to Win”. A $50 donation will pay for approximately 3 1/2 minutes of footage.
