In August 2019, my job at Healthfirst has ended due to it was a temporary contract with a recruiting agency. Then in October of 2019, my house had received a order of vacate due to it was converted illegally from a single family home into a multi family home with many sublets, also providing Air B and B hotel service without permission of the city. On January 23 of this year, the house was shut down by order of the Department of Buildings, which forced us to leave our home, leaving me and the landlady with her family who also dwelled in this house homeless. Right now, I am unemployed, homeless and financially broke, but God willing I will start working next week as a temporary employee at Fidelis Care. I need some assistance since I am huge in debt, plus I need to get a new home soon and rents are now much more expensive. They go between $1,400 and $2,100.
