I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend Dale.
Last week Dale started experiencing excruciating pain in his back and stomach which prompted him to call an ambulence and go to the emergency room. Thank God he did because his liver had become septic and if he had not gone when he did it is likely he would have died.
After two surgerys, multiple CT Scans and MRI's Dale has been diagnoised with acute diverticulitis which has compromised his liver and spleen greatly. He is going to be receiving in-home health care of heavy duty intravenous antibiotics for at least the next 5 weeks with a full recovery of up to 5 months. Dale has been entertaining and singing for seniors in retirement homes and assisted living his whole life but now all that will have to be put on hold while he recuperates.  Being a self employed musician Dale is going to need our help to get through this trying time.
