From a Home to a Tent Help Us Rebuild After Losing Everything
My name is Jennifer, and my family is living through the worst moment of our lives. A wildfire took everything our home, our stability, and our security. We escaped with only the clothes on our backs, thinking we could rebuild but things have only gotten worse.
I thought we had a chance to regain some stability by moving back into my rental home, but before I could even get us there, I was blindsided someone is trying to steal my home out from under me. Now, instead of having a roof over our heads, my family is forced to sleep in a tent.
We’ve Lost Everything, and We Have Nowhere to Go
The Red Cross told us to leave, and we have no backup plan.
We lost our home and all of our belongings.
We have no vehicle, no money, and no way to get help.
We have unique needs. My family includes my disabled mother-in-law, my husband, my brother-in-law, and my four sons (ages 21, 17, 12, and 8 including my autistic son).
We are completely stranded. No nearby friends or family can help, and every resource has turned us away.
We Need $10,000 to Get Back on Our Feet
This money will allow us to:
Find Safe Housing A temporary place to live while we fight to reclaim our home.
Secure Reliable Transportation We found two cars for $700 and put down $200, but we still need $500 more to finish paying for them, plus repairs to make them drivable. Without transportation, we can’t get to work, buy food, or access medical care.
Cover Basic Needs Food, clothing, hygiene products, and other survival essentials.
Support Medical & Special Needs Care My mother-in-law requires medical attention, and my autistic son needs structure and stability.
Why We Desperately Need Help
We are homeless, sleeping in a tent, with no money and no way out. This isn’t just about surviving today it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild.
We need a miracle. Even $5 makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please share this with others.
From the bottom of my heart thank you. Your kindness means everything to us.
