This picture is of my best friends, Carmina and Alvin and their young twins, Ronin and Tala.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian caused devastating flooding to their home in Orlando, Florida. Due to the poor storm water drainage system in her neighborhood, her home was susceptible to flooding when it would storm. Despite several attempts to get the city to repair the system, they’ve always ignored it. And now, my friends are without the home they’ve spent years renovating so they could raise their children.

Also - though they have home insurance, they do not have flood insurance, so they’ve been told they get zero financial assistance.

If you’re able to help in any way to get them back on their feet, I know they’d be eternally grateful, as would I. Thank you so so much.
