On Saturday, 8/23/25, my apartment was destroyed in a fire. I am safe and unharmed, but I lost everything I owned. Most heartbreaking of all, my two beloved cats, Gus and Tavie, passed away in the fire. They were my family, and their loss has left an emptiness I can’t put into words.

Because I did not have renter’s insurance, I am starting from nothing. I am asking for help to get back on my feet and rebuild a safe home.
