Lost first apartment in fire 9 days after move in

I moved into my first apartment on April 10th, furnished it and watched in burn down 9 days later at no fault of my own, on April 19th around 1:30am. Lost everything I own as my only concern was to get my dogs out. my kitchen window/wall was already on fire when the fire alarm went off so it gave me no time; i ran out without my wallet, dog leash or shoes. I spent most of my money getting into my apartment and getting things for it, so I do not have the funds right now to get into another.. I am currently waiting on renters insurance but have not heard too much back yet and was told it could take weeks for us to get anything. Also my apartment that burnt down is saying I will still have to pay rent on the 1st and every month until my lease is up; which is making this situation way more difficult unless I pay off the lease. Due to this situation I have not been able to go to work as I have no clothes or shoes. If you’re unable to donate to me please donate to Red Cross as they have helped so much with this situation and took a lot of weight off my shoulders.
