update 12/2025 as of today we are still trying to recover from the devastating fires from August 2023. We are in need of a vehicle and long term housing preferably on west side Maui. As well as new furniture and appliances for when housing is finally in the works. We have had a rough past couple of months and have to pay thousands of dollars in medical bills and medications due to health problems. Any donations would be greatly appreciated

On August 8th our lives changed forever

as I stepped out of my apartment and saw flames and smoke nearing my complex.

i was only able to gather my cats, my sister and myself. In under 15 minutes we were out with nothing but our lives as we tried to outrun fire.

I’ve lost everything including my work truck.

all of my memories and belongings are gone.

i would like to relocate my cats to a safe place in California. Any small amount of donations will help me make that happen and hopefully get myself back on my feet.

I pray for all of the lives lost and for all the survivors to be reunited with their loved ones soon. To all the burned victims I send you lots of healing wishes and hope you have a speedy recover
