Lost everything in flood in Manville NJ

My name is Jim Reid. On September 1st 2021 we lost all of our possessions to a flood. We were tenants in a home that ended up 20 ft underwater. We lost our cars, all of our possessions. My wife Diane and I are safe and we were able to save our cats tiki and Colin. We are truly grateful that our lives were spared as we have learned that many have died in the area. We are trying to survive. We are hoping that FEMA and local emergency agencies can help. It's a long process involving insurance carriers and contractors to rebuild. My landlord says it will be 6 months to a year before the property will be ready for tenants
