Lost everything in apartment complex fire
My son Craig and his wife Kasondra lost everything but their lives in the Westwood Apartment Complex fire in Westland, MI on August 4, 2021. They'd moved here from Holland, MI and had only been living in this apartment 3 weeks when this happened. While they did have renter's insurance, the policy will not nearly cover the cost to replace what they have lost...EVERYTHING. They've been married 4 years and also lost all of their wedding mementos including her dress, as well as irreplaceable heirlooms.
My son is interviewed in this Fox 2 Detroit news clip and is shown with his wife Kasondra and a close up of one of his guitars in their upstairs apartment.
They (and I) will truly appreciate any help you can give as they continue to regroup. Funds will be used to help replace their living room, dining room and bedroom furniture, bedding, rugs, towels, decor, pots, pans, dishes, cups, silverware, toiletries, personal items, her glasses, weightlifting equipment, video gaming system with games and controllers, cleaning supplies, clothes, shoes, coats, his wedding ring. She is a photographer and lost all of her equipment and lap top computer including editing software. He lost his computer he used to study for real estate licensing and both of his guitars.
You name it, they probably lost it.
Thank you again for your time, compassion and generosity.
