Hi, I am Thomas Hart, I live in Montreal, QC. On June 14th, 2025, around 2 PM, a fire broke out in my apartment building in Saint Henri and burned for nearly 11 hours. The entire top floor — where I lived — was destroyed. Firefighters confirmed that the roof caved in and everything inside is likely gone. I didn't have renters insurance, and firefighters have said that all of my possessions are likely destroyed other than the clothes I was wearing.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to start over. I'm fundraising to cover basic essentials, housing, clothes, and to begin the process of stating again.
