Help my Dad who lost everything in Lahainafires.

Aloha,

My name is Lucy Reardon, I am Daniel Reardon’s daughter, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read his story. I’m sure you all have heard of the devastation that happened in Lahaina on August 8th, 2023, a whole town burnt to the ground within hours. A whole community ravaged by wildfires, and hurricane winds. A whole community now homeless. Including my Father, Daniel Reardon.

This being his second fire in the span of 2 years, its completely devastating. After losing his business in 2021 to a fire, and fighting through the downfalls just to lose everything again is absolutely heartbreaking. This time without a home, and the businesses he had spent 35 years of his life building. We have no option but to reach out to the world for help.

If you know my Dad, you know he is not the guy to ask for help. He’s been a strong point in our community for years, helping when he can. But now I am reaching out in his honor for help, any little thing will help him get back onto his feet, find long term shelter, and maybe one day rebuild what he once had.
