Lost Dog Tracking fund in memory of Ocho
Donation protected
Welcome,
Recently I suffered a traumatic loss when a house fire broke out from an electrical fault late at night and in the commotion of help coming in and out one of my dogs lost his life after tragically being killed by a lorry.
His collar went missing and so I was left for several days not knowing what happened to him and it was utter torment. It was pitch black so I had no idea where to search and spent days and nights searching for him on ground and by drone/thermal camera.
Of all the services available there is a distinct lack of lost dog tracking teams in the south that can track the scent of a lost pet to help identify their location.
The search teams were busy with other cases at the time as this is a truly invaluable service that they provide voluntarily.
I would love to be able to offer these voluntary services to other distressed guardians who have lost their pets but sadly the training is out of reach financially for me.
Thats where you guys come in. I’m raising funds to be able to complete the Lost Dog Tracking courses with Reef (Ocho’s cousin genetically that I also own) at North K9 Dog Training.
There are 3 levels to complete and they are £300 each.
I gain absolutely no financial benefit from doing this course, I simply want to give back after so many came to my aid when Ocho went missing.
Thank you everyone,
Rosie
