Lost But Not Forgotten is a narrative short film that examines the impact of art and creative expression on memory as a young man reflects on the hardships of watching his late grandfather battle Alzheimer's. Written and directed by accomplished University of Miami cinematographer Chase Johnson ('23), Lost But Not Forgotten is a story inspired by personal events that stresses the importance of family and our film's central message: art can heal the soul.
