- Hello my name is AJ I’m originally from New Jersey, about year ago I moved to California for the pursuit of happiness with the love of my life. On January 9th,2024 while 90% done with packing our belongings into the back of our uhaul, someone stole it from the front of my apartment building at 2:30p.m in broad daylight . Completely setting me back on 16 years of building the life I’ve sacrificed so much to make it a reality hurts beyond words. All my clothes, furniture, electronics, kitchen appliances, boxes of childhood pictures and collectible items from various forms of art, over $10,000 on DJ equipment that I’ve been building close to a decade now just gone in an instant. my girlfriend unfortunately was left with just a small book bag of clothes and all of her electronics and painting supplies and clothes were taken. Im at the point where I’ve made peace that the chances of us getting our stuff or even a glimpse of justice are slim to none. Trying to rebuild your life after a setback seems impossible. It's like starting from scratch and knowing that things won't be exactly the same as they once were. The $35,000 I’m asking for would be used to buy clothes a bed, furniture and kitchen appliances to help get us back on our feet. From the bottom of my heart i appreciate you even just taking the time to read this, I feel like crap having to put myself in a position to have to beg or ask for help but at this point it’s the only option I have any and all help would be gratefully appreciated.
