Loss Recovery From CarJacking

Zack was faced with a frightful engagement when he drove his last UBER passengers on Saturday morning. At the end of the route the passengers started acting strange and threw a sucker punch to Zacks jaw.  The punches continued with the back seat passenger holding him from behind.   About 15 blows were landed and eventually Zack was forced out of the car.  While the backseat passenger bailed out of the car and still at large the other passenger who assaulted him took off in Zack's vehicle leaving him bleeding in the dark street in the PineHills area at 2am.  Forced to run for his life Zack tried unsecessfully to flag down motorists.  One woman, an angel, eventually stopped and gave him a ride to the Police Substation.  There he gave info that allowed OPD to track down the rider, give chase and finally catch the suspect.  Unfortunatley the car caught fire and was completely destroyed in the process.  He only had Liability held on his car and his semester worth of work, electronics, phone and personal items all went up in flames.  The emotional and physical aspects of being attacked in this way and by 2 people is undescribable. He was tramatized initially but now has to deal with going out in public and not having that fear of looking over his shoulder.  Unable to work, he not only needs to go to therapy but to purchase a new vehicle, get full coverage insurance (for a 22 yr old it is expensive), pay for tuition and replace what was lost in the vehicle.

It breaks my heart as a parent to see someone as nice and gentle as Zack to be in such a situation.  Zack knows that there are good, kind people in this world and that this will not break his spirit but he needs a little help and is reaching out for your support.  Here is the video of the report from FOX news;

If there is any way you can contribute to the fund he and I will be ever grateful.

Also Zack is Majoring in Computer Science and has a love of programming.  If anyone has a need or knows of someone looking for a bright, talented young man to work the computers that would be a blessing so that he wouldn't be in this situation again.
