Loss of work due to tumor. Need help with bills.

I have an adrenal tumor, its not the kind of cancer that spreats, but it is still dangerous and needs removed. I am finally through all the testing and able to have it removed next week. Unfortunately the medical bills have become too much and I am expected to miss 3-6 weeks of work.

This is after having been dismissed from another job because they were fed up with all my doctors appointments even though I had documented notes and dates for all of it. Lately I have been working as a warehouse employee at Scott Electric. This is not my preferred line of work but it pays the bills and Joe there in particular has been wonderful at working with me and my medical issues during this time.

I have set my goal at 5000, which is far more than I expect to recieve but is the ultimate ammount I would need to comfortably stay off work the full 6 weeks until recovered and pay all known bills and medical expenses to date. In the meantime I will be looking for a work from home oppertunity that I can do while recovering, so if anyone has anything let me know. The final ammount I will owe from insurance is TBD, hopefully its not too much.
