Tragic loss of Gary Wagner, Beloved Husband and Father.
It is with great sorrow and pain we share the news of Gary’s passing after a long courageous battle with Cancer. The Lord relieved Gary of his suffering on Nov 26 at 5:15 PM. Gary was a very creative person who loved painting and creating works in various media for his friends and family. He was also a craftsman and tile contractor for many years.
For the last few years of his life he lived in a small rental house with his wife Nina and daughter Claire 19. During this time, they were a very happy family even though they had to deal with his diagnosis of Cancer and the treatments that followed.
They subsisted on Gary’s Social Security pension and Nina’s part time work which barely allowed them to live. Yet, they never complained and were always willing to help others any way they could.
As the primary caregivers for Gary, Nina and Claire learned a lot about Cancer and how it slowly worked its way into every organ of his body. They learned about sacrifice and loss: Numerous trips to Chemo, Doctors offices and hospitals. They were both so strong and were with him to the very end.
.
Sadly, now that he has passed they have absolutely nothing. No life Insurance. The Landlord wants them out by Dec 1 since they can’t pay the rent beyond that.
With all the unbearable pain and suffering a death brings, it also creates a substantial financial hardship.
We are trying to raise money and support the Wagner family in any way we can to help mitigate unnecessary expenses and additional stress.
It is during times like this we, as a community and friends, can gather around this family to provide strength, support, love and lift their spirits.
We are extremely grateful for any support you may be able to provide and want to encourage everyone to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Cherish every day you have with your beloved one.
