Our family is deeply saddened to inform you that Suresh Siripireddy (Sudhersen) a doting father, loving husband, dutiful son and a selfless friend passed away at age 44 on Thursday, November 09th in RWJ hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Suresh battled non-small cell lung cancer since 2013 December and leaves behind his wife Kavitha (Pavithra) and two sons (Guhan 14 - Sai 9).
Suresh's fight with cancer started within the first 1.6 years of landing in United states with his family. He was diagnosed with non-small cell cancer and was given 3 months to live. Being the fighter he was, he did not give up. He continued to work and provide for the family until his physical condition deteriorated and lost his job. Pavithra learned new skills and started providing to the family while caring for Suresh. Her job demanded that she moved across multiple cities like Minneapolis, St. Louis, Mclean, Edison within the last 5 years while still managing to give the best care to her husband and education to her kids.
Suresh was deemed unfit for chemotherapy within the first year of diagnosis and he quickly switched to immunotherapy. Over the course the cancer progressed to his brain forcing whole brain radiation and a surgery to remove the tumor. The radiation crippled his right arm in 2016 drastically limiting his physical abilities and the continued clinical trials weakened him further. Tumor returned to his lungs again this year and he underwent his final unsuccessful clinical trial in Massachusetts general hospital in Boston, MA. He has been in continuous monitoring since August at a RWJ rehab center with frequent emergency visits to the ICU but all that ended this Thursday with his family and a pastor by his side.
Suresh's family is devastated by the loss. His wife Pavithra who has been a fighter since the beginning never gave up on him. Exhausted with all options they are in need of help for all the expenses that follows. Besides what close relatives can contribute we are requesting support from those who are willing. It does not matter how small or large, every donation helps reduce the setback and create a bright future for Guhan and Sai.
It is with heavy heart and utmost humility, that our family is reaching out to all of you for your prayers, love and much needed support. Help spread the word!! Thanks for your support !!
