On Tuesday February 4th, the Buitrago Family, a lovely family of four, Josephine Rico (mother) and Ricardo Buitrago (Father) lost their home and all of their belongings in Chilliwack BC. The family, two parents and two children along with their dog, have survived; however, no belongings made it out of the fire. The daughter, Gabriela is 17 years old, a young, intelligent and glowing teenage girl. She is graduating this year and has lost many articles of clothing (including her prom dress) and memories in the fire. Her younger brother Juan, the 13 year old boy is lovable, kind and young, he is starting high school soon and lost all of his supplies and clothes as well. The parents lost their memories of their children’s childhoods in the fire. I personally have known this family for a very long time and they have always been so kind and welcoming to those around them and I would love to help them out in any way possible in this tragic time. Any donation or share of this page would be extremely appreciated. The Buitrago Family is making sure to use all donations for basic necessities for their new home including furniture, groceries and etc. We appreciate everyone who’s helped contribute to this tragedy, bless you all! Update: All funds will be be directly sent to the Buitrago Family Bank account and all funds will be used to purchase fundamental products for this family to use while figuring out their living circumstances for the next year
