Loss Leaves Mom and Kids in Need

Ryan and I were married back in 2002 and have had three amazing children together. After many years with both of us working full-time and raising children, we took a risk and opened a small business in late 2019. However, due to my (Stacy) unexpected heart failure early in 2020 and the pandemic, life turned extremely difficult for our family. We worked to take care of the children and my health after two open-heart surgeries, while Ryan worked full-time to cover health insurance and keep the business open that most of the retirement had been invested in. Tragically Ryan passed away on 2/13/2022.

Unfortunately, because of the newness of Ryan’s job and the considerable investment in the business leaves, there are no life insurance funds and scarce to no savings. I am left to care for our three children (ages 7, 13, and 16) on my current (hopefully temporary) disability income. As financial issues are being worked out, I would appreciate any support to help with immediate expenses as well as any costs for kids’ current needs as we rebuild our lives. Even if you can’t afford any support, please continue to look out for family and friends as so many people are living through struggles that may seem unbearable.
