Hi my name is Leila. I just started to rent out my own little studio above the mill on lahainaluna road for about 4 months now. Yesterdays fire stripped my studio & everything in it. Including the things I had left of my mother who passed away last year. I barely made it out with only the clothes I had on my back & my cellphone. The traffic was so jammed up & the flames were moving rapidly. I ended up having to ditch my car and my boyfriend ended up finding me on his dirt bike on front street. He lost his family home and vechile also. We’re all back together safe upcountry now, but we’re lost without a house to go home too. Anything helps. Seriously.
