Losing Locks for Sienna

17 year old Sienna Martucci was diagnosed with ‘Ewing’s Sarcoma’ located on her 7th & 8th ribs in August 2018.
Sienna is currently undergoing a combination of chemotherapy and radiology treatment. She has unfortunately had to also undergo surgery to remove 4 ribs and a partial amount of her lungs and diaphragm due to the cancer attaching itself to these organs.
I have known the Martucci family through our school and sporting community and I wanted to provide an opportunity for those who would like to support financially – no matter how big or small – to help ease some of the financial burden of this unexpected diagnosis, and allow the family to focus entirely on what matters most; Sienna and her journey ahead.
Now, I have had my dreadlocks since March 1999 (more than half my life) and they have become a part of my identity. However I feel there is no better cause than this to finally part with them. It is the least I can do to help Sienna and her family during this trying time.
Whether or not you’re able to help financially, I would appreciate if you could share this campaign far and wide, and keep Sienna and her family in your thoughts and prayers for a full and fast recovery.
