Hello, my name is Mary. I'm Matt Hiley's wife.

Matt sustained bodily injury when the back deck collapsed September 7th of this year, as he was taking our dog Justice out at 6:30am.

He has been unable to work since, due to both shoulders having torn rotator cuffs, and a dislocated shoulder that didn't go back into the shoulder properly by the emergency room.

He goes to see an orthopedic specialist, as well as physical therapy weekly. He will need surgery to repair his shoulders to be able to work again.

He has copays for both the specialist and physical therapy.

I was unable to work since the date of his injury to care for him, as he couldn't drive or dress. I recently started working part-time for some income, but the bills are mounting.

Both our vehicles need service during the same time frame. The cost of my vehicle repairs are $370, and Matt's truck is $750.

Matt has temporary advanced sick leave from the USPS, but that runs out in a couple of weeks, and he has to pay it back when he goes back to work.

The USPS does not pay into TDI, so there was no option to collect from that.

This morning, we were blindsided when we received notice to move out by December 1st. The last we heard, they were going to work with us, knowing their deck, which wasn't structurally built to code, collapsed while Matt and Justice were on it.

We are going to have to move, need to rent a truck, first and last deposit for a new apartment, and hoping we can find one near the price range we were paying, but that is highly unlikely.

Finding an apartment will be difficult, as we have a german shepherd and a cat.

Any assistance will be helpful, even if just to pay his copay visits.
