Losing my mother, Dana Lynn Askay

Donation protected
Hello dearest friends and family,

My name is Jonathan Askay, many of you know me as Johnny. I should start by apologizing if this request comes across as confusing or hard to read, my current mental state is convoluted with many thoughts and worries regarding my current situation but I will try my best to be concise and collected as I write.

With the recent heartbreaking loss of my mother, Dana Lynn Askay, on September 6th, I was given the responsibilities of the apartment, (where she has been living for 8 years and where I recently have resided) and our 2 cats, Gaia and Sidhe. In the beginning, things were fortunately on the road to recovery but, after just a little less than a few months, I have fallen into further misfortune and am regrettably reaching out to anyone who may be able to help me out during this difficult time.

Alongside the loss of a loved one and the following financial dues arising, my apartment complex recently put a decision into action requiring monthly rent to be paid on the 1st with no exception to those on a payment plan. I, unfortunately, am among those few with an agreement to pay over time due to my recent need to catch up after my mothers passing. With that being said, an additional impact on my ability to follow along with this corporate decision was an unexpected loss of employment due to the lack of needed employees during the holidays. While I have been optimistic and able to acquire lower sums of funds through the occasional temporary job, I have fallen behind on the needed payments and have lost my ability to realistically meet my goal of 1,062 dollars. I was served a 10 day notice of termination for the nonpayment of rent on the 9th of this month so the 19th will be the day my living situation will be decided.

I have been trying to keep my chin up and strive towards obtaining a sustainable means of employment but the date is quickly arriving and I have to come to terms with my current situation and swallow my pride. I hold all of you and your well-beings to the highest regard and I would never feel disrespected if you decline my request. Whatever may become of my situation, I will always keep the ways we have connected and our relationships close to heart and I wish the very best for all of you. Thank you very much for reading this if you have made it to the end of this story. I hope you are well and Happy Holidays.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Askay
