LOSER U - Animated TV Pilot

Hey friends! I'm Dakota Byard- I'm about to wrap up my M.F.A. in Animation at Lipscomb University. Throughout my journey at Lipscomb I've learned so much about developing my own animated concept and what it actually takes to produce it. I actually produced an award winning short called 'Arco' that you can watch whenever you want! While on this journey, I've felt drawn to write, produce, and direct my own series. For my final step in finishing the program, I've been asked to use the skills I've learned to bring my ideas to life on a thesis project. It's called:

'Loser U'

It's a story about an egotistical young quarterback, Willie Knight, who thinks so highly of himself that he commits to a college that hasn't won a football game in over 30 years... just to prove a point. It's an Animated Comedy series that centers around Willie and his friends as they traverse this ever-so-strange world of college life. One that may or may not involve: Winning, losing, friendship, questioning existence, found-family, garbage fights, wild bobcats loose on campus, clones, cults, paranormal activity, and radioactive Gatorade. You know, the stuff we all dealt with in college.
