I'm raising funds for the people of Los Santos, Panama, after two powerful earthquakes struck on October 9, 2026. A magnitude 7.7 earthquake was followed by a 6.6 quake, and the damage has been devastating. Homes have been damaged or destroyed, roads and bridges have been compromised, and essential services have been disrupted across the region.
These are people I know personally, and some of them have been directly affected by this disaster. Money will be going directly to community leaders that can distribute funds exactly where they are needed on the ground. Watching this unfold from afar is hard, especially knowing that some families cannot safely sleep in their homes and that damaged roads are making it difficult for help to reach them.
Community leaders in Cambutal asked me to start this process so I could help coordinate support from Florida while they are on the ground doing the hard manual work.
In the hardest-hit areas around Tonosí, communities have been left isolated because transportation routes are so badly damaged. Tonosí is the main hub where we go constantly for supplies and necessities for Cambutal where we run our fishing trips. Much of the aid is coming in by helicopter, which shows just how serious the situation is right now. Families need immediate support as they try to get through the days ahead without reliable access to basic necessities.

If you are able to help, any contribution will make a real difference for people facing unsafe homes, blocked roads, and limited access to aid. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support the people of Los Santos during this emergency.
