Hi!

My name is Ethan Escobar, a filmmaker studying at DePaul University. Now fundraising to bring my latest short film to life: "Los Flores"!

A dramedy about two estranged siblings: Pedro and Carmen Flores. Polar opposites forced to reunite following their mother's death, rebuilding their bond in the process.

The lead cast and crew are made up of DePaul University student filmmakers. Donations to this film will help us fund transportation, filming permits, securing locations, meals for cast and crew, props and decorations, film festival/distribution fees and everything else needed for this production.

This is a passion project of mine. A film inspired on my own experiences with my family and emotions towards loss.

I know that this story and these characters will connect with so many people. Anyone who has had to navigate through losing a loved one, felt out of place, struggled with self-loathing, forming new bonds amid anxiety, or trying to find themselves during a crisis, will identify with the journey Pedro and Carmen take as their relationship changes.

The production process comes with a large amount of expenses, so any donation made so we can bring this dream to life would be strongly appreciated!
