Hey there, I'm Christian Tavelli Garcia, a Senior at Picacho McGregor High School, and I am thrilled to kick off the "Los Cabos Hope Initiative," a project that's really close to my heart.

Growing up in the lively vibes of Los Cabos, I was kind of blind to the real needs just beyond the glitzy neighborhoods. Everything changed when I crossed paths with Paty, a true angel. After undergoing negative family dynamics, Paty headed off to Chihuahua to lend a hand to those in need. Although then she realized there was so much to be done right back home. Paty returned to Los Cabos and set up this humble community school, a place not just for learning but a safe place for these children.

So, what's the deal with this initiative? Well, I am looking to raise funds for Paty's school, tucked away on the outskirts of Cabo San Lucas, just a quick 20 minute drive from the fancier Baja neighborhoods. Picture this, these kids head home to situations with no running water, plywood/tin made homes, tough family dynamics, and maybe just one meal a day. But guess what? Paty's got their backs every single day, weekends included. She's filling their stomachs, nurturing their minds, and uplifting their spirits.

Here's the goal: I'm aiming to raise $10,000, which covers a whole year of education, meals, and care for 4 awesome kids. Anything we collect beyond that is going straight into supporting more kids in the same community. Your support to my cause will go a long way and will come back to you in love and appreciation from these amazing souls.

I'll never forget the first time I walked into Paty's community center. I was surrounded by these 2 to 4-year-olds, all hugging me, begging for stories. From that day on, I promised myself there's nothing I wouldn't do to help them out. Trust me, once you realize your small donation can bring so much hope and joy to these kids, you'd want in on it too. So, let's do this together.
