Los Alamos Internship Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Julian Jackson! I'm an African American first generation student and freshman majoring in Physics at the University of California San Diego. I'm beyond grateful to have received an internship offer to conduct research on the most powerful explosions in our universe using hydro code at the famous Los Alamos National Laboratory this summer as a SULI Intern! Both the internship along with the SULI program ran by the Department Of Energy are highly competitive across the country, which makes this a huge and very important opportunity to further my career. Needless to say, any donation amount is heavily appreciated and will go a long way in aiding my future. I will be conducting research out there for 2 months and work a normal 40 hours a week during my time there. The money donated here will accommodate my housing for the entire summer while also allowing me to rent transportation when traveling to and from the lab for the duration of the internship.
